Hospital Recoletas Palencia

After leaving a scathing review of the so-called health center in Carrion de los Condes, I would like to leave a completely different kind of review here. I was in sever pain from twisted back which got worse until I admitted myself to the hospital in agony. No questions asked, I was given a bed to rest, then painless check-in and to a room for 3 days of pain treatment by IV to bring the situation under control to continue my journey. My decision when to leave - when I felt I could do it. I got good attention from a specialist each day along with CT scan, and the normal doctors/nurses were at my call within 30 seconds at all times. Spacious clean and comfortable room, friendly and human service. These things make the healing process much more effective. My most sincere thanks to everyone of the staff of that hospital.

Horrible

Shameful that a patient has to get out of bed to ask the healthcare team on the ward to lower their voices, to stop shouting as if they were in a cocktail bar. They laugh as if there were no tomorrow without respecting the silence that is requested in a hospital. I understand that they have "leisure" time but having respect for patients who are sick and need peace of mind is the first thing Second day and we are at the same thing.
